A Duo of October Days To Honor Community

Monday, October 9 is Indigenous Peoples Day.

Community Days at Meow Wolf is a celebration day of reduced admission costs at House Of Eternal Return for New Mexico locals. This October, Community Days means more.

Monday, October 9 is Indigenous Peoples Day. In honor, Meow Wolf will extend the regular second Sunday Community Day, October 8, to include Monday for members of all pueblos, tribes and nations.

Indigenous Peoples Day is a celebration of North America's indigenous communities. 2017 will be Santa Fe's second official year in observance and The City Different will feature a very special roster of city-wide events.

Events start Saturday, so be sure to check out the calendar. We love to live in a city that observes Indigenous Peoples Day and we love to share in this day with Albuquerque and Farmington here in New Mexico.

Across the U.S. about 36 cities and three states observe Indigenous Peoples Day. Meow Wolf wants to see this number grow to cover all 50 states and our many protectorates. The time is now that we focus our best recognition of the people and cultures that were here first, before anyone else, and have left such a profound legacy of invention, culture and tradition to us all.

All New Mexico residents can visit us Sunday October 8 at our reduced admission cost. The following day, we extend those reduced prices exclusively to members of the pueblos, tribes and nations of New Mexico.

Thank you all for being our neighbors!
