Bloomsday In Santa Fe 2016: Ulysses in FancyTown — produced by JoyceGeek
Thursday, Jun 16th, 2016
8:00 pm - 10:00 pm
- This event has passed.
And you thought the House of Eternal Return was labyrinthine.
Meow Wolf’s soon-to-be historic “FancyTown” performance space provides the ideal setting for this celebration of the 112th anniversary of June 16, 1904, the day on which take place the events of James Joyce’s great convoluted exploration of human language and experience: Ulysses.
Join host Adam Harvey, Irish music impressario Gerry Carthy, and a bevy of actors, musicians and JoyceGeeks from around the city different for an evening of music and readings from (arguably) the greatest novel of all time.
Not just for Joyce veterans – if you’ve never read Joyce before, come and see what the fuss is all about.
$20 seated tickets can be purchased online
$15 standing room tickets will be sold at the door
Doors at 8PM
