We're professional freaks, so Halloween is a very special holiday for the artists of Meow Wolf. We like to go as big as we can to honor this weirdest of days.Last year we presented House of Halloween. This performance series put guests in the middle of an exhibition-spanning science fiction story. We filled the House with actors, music and more than a few creeps from outer space. We're refining what we offered last year with Freak or Treat, a multi-tentacled Halloween series that guests can experience all together or à la carte. Freak or Treat will have fivenights of performances, our first-ever Trick or Treat inside the exhibition and three nightsof music designed to appeal to your inner dance monster. Read on to see what we've been building inside the lab...

From 6 - 8 p.m., October 26, 27, 28, 29, and 30. (Free with the cost of admission.)Fans of House of Halloween will want to return for Freak or Treat. We loved the chaotic, experiential theater so much that we decided to reanimate it with new performers, new characters, and a new storyline that digs up our favorite themes from sci-fi and weird fiction. During the live show guests are free to interact with performers who will tell you a Halloween story that only Meow Wolf can execute. The performance is, of course, appropriate for all ages, but your kids may be slightly weirder at the end of the night. Our performances last year were separate ticketed events, but this year our Halloween story is free with the cost of admission. You can spend the entire day with us and come back when things boil over around 6 o'clock. Guests get the most out of the show through exploration so annual pass holders are in a unique position to experience the chaos again and again. They may gaze into this tangled piece of non-Euclidian theater as often as they dare.

All Day, October 31 (Youth tickets only: $14, $12 - NM residents. Up to two adults may accompany a child for free).Want to go Trick or Treating in the strangest neighborhood imaginable? We're hosting Trick or Treat inside the exhibition. Kids ages 12 and under can knock on doors throughout the exhibition and meet costumed characters who will richly reward them with treats. When we were growing up kids would often tell tall tales about what they scored on Halloween. We're more or less certain that experiencing Trick or Treat inside the House of Eternal Return will give kids playground bragging rights for eternity. To keep things focused on the kids, we'll only be selling youth tickets on Halloween and admitting 100 tickets each hour. Youth must be accompanied by an adult.https://youtu.be/sPRG7W8R7iMThe Golden Dawn Arkestra is headlining our party Halloween Night.
