This Privacy Policy is meant to help you understand what data we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

This Privacy Policy covers Meow Wolf owned and operated websites and mobile applications (collectively “Sites”), and any other services offered by Meow Wolf, including exhibitions, entertainment services, motion pictures and animations, consumer products and interactive services (“Services”). Meow Wolf refers to Meow Wolf, Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliated entities (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By using the Sites or Services, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. Unless otherwise defined here, terms have the same meaning as in our Terms of Use. This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we collect from visitors to our Sites and users of our Services (“you”, “your” or “users”), as well as how we use, disclose, and protect such information.

Types of Information We Collect

We treat any data that identifies, or reasonably can be linked to, an individual consumer as “Personal Information.” Data that has been de-identified or aggregated so that it cannot reasonably be linked to an individual consumer is not Personal Information, and we may use that data for any purpose. Personal Information also does not include publicly available information, such as information that is lawfully made available through federal, state, or local government records.

The types of information we collect include:

  • Demographic Data, including your age and gender.
  • Internet or other Electronic Network Activity Information, including browsing history and information regarding a consumer’s interaction with our website, applications or advertisements. You provide this information automatically to us through your interaction with our Sites or Services. We also may receive this information from our service providers or marketing partners. • Photographic, Digital, or Video Likeness Data, including any images you may upload on our Sites or as may be captured and used by us for the limited purpose of your engagement with our exhibitions or other Services. For example, our cameras may record you walking within an exhibit, and we may play back the image in front a green screen or on monitors within the exhibit. By visiting an exhibit, you are providing your consent for us to record and use your likeness within and outside the exhibit.
  • Content, including content within any messages you send to us (such as feedback and questions to customer support) or publicly post on the Sites (such as in product reviews or blog comments).
  • Inferences drawn from any of the information identified above to create a profile about your preferences and characteristics.

‍The types of online technologies we use to collect information include:

Cookies. Cookies are small data files placed in your browser that may include a unique identifier and help store your preferences and settings. On their own, cookies do not identify you personally, such as by name or email address. However, if you choose to provide your personal information through our Site, we may link that information to data stored in cookies.

We and our service providers may use cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels or tags) to: (1) enhance and personalize your experience on our Sites; (2) monitor and analyze website usage and performance; and (3) improve our Sites, Services, and advertising, including delivering interest-based ads. We may combine cookie data with other information we collect about you or that we receive from third parties. We also partner with third-party advertising companies that use tracking technologies to serve you targeted ads across the Internet based on your visits to our Sites and other websites over time.

You can set your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you disable cookies, certain parts of our Sites may not function properly. For additional information about opting out of targeted advertising, please visit the “Your Rights and Choices” section below.
