Request Support from Meow Wolf

Meow Wolf strives to be a visionary public benefit corporation by supporting systemic social change and well-being through the arts.

We are actively supporting the efforts of many arts-based organizations and non-profits in the communities we serve – Santa Fe, Las Vegas, Denver, Washington DC, and Phoenix –  that provide creative and inclusive opportunities for all.

Meow Wolf is not soliciting funding requests at this time, nor are we making any additional monetary sponsorships or donations. We do welcome you to apply for passes and other types of support during this phase. Please keep us on your radar for future projects or events as we are constantly evolving our philanthropy priorities.

Please be specific when filling out this form, as it helps us to clearly understand your organization and goals. If you haven’t yet, we highly recommend reading through our Community and Philanthropy websites for more information about our support before you submit your request.

FAQS
How soon will you get back to me?

We hope to respond to as many applicants as possible within our capacity. With the volume of requests we receive, unfortunately we cannot respond to every one. Generally, our review process for passes takes 4 weeks with several rounds of staff review. We appreciate your patience and understanding that we cannot support every request.

How is this different from the DIY Fund?

Meow Wolfs DIY Fund is still active and is an annual fund open to small scale art and music spaces across the country. It is geared towards building safety improvements, upgrades, rent, infrastructure or projects that pay artists directly. It is also a very competitive process – we’ve received over 500 applications in 2 years. The application is open once a year (typically in the fall), and funding is awarded the following year. Read more about the DIY Fund here.

What don’t you typically support?
  • Organizations based outside our Communities – At this time, we focus our resources on local organizations and programs that are based in the communities we serve – Santa Fe, Las Vegas, Denver, Washington, DC and Phoenix. The only current exception is our annual DIY Fund.
  • One time or private events – To help us focus on long-term change and impact, we prefer to support established recurring community events that are free for all ages. This includes not sponsoring galas, festivals and events that charge for entry. However, we often give tickets to these groups.
  • Individual Projects – Due to the nature and timelines of projects, we typically do not fund individual projects or completely new ideas.
  • Businesses – We do not contribute directly to for profit businesses (our only current exception is our annual DIY Fund). We do however collaborate with like minded businesses to support artists and creativity in our local communities.
  • Emergency Requests – Our review process takes 6-12 weeks with several rounds of review from staff, this makes it challenging to support quick turn around requests.
  • Religious Events or Activities – Supporting faith based organizations or events is outside of our current philanthropy strategy.
