Accessibility

All are welcome at Meow Wolf. We offer a variety of supportive services and accessibility options when you visit Meow Wolf Denver's Convergence Station.

Our projects are intended for all visitors to enjoy through cross-ability play and exploration. Due to the nature of exploration and nonlinear storytelling, each participant — regardless of ability — will have a different experience in our spaces. To help develop the best experience possible for all our guests, we partnered with Artful Access, a Denver based organization with over 60 combined years of experience bringing direct experience, skills, and advocacy in the areas of arts and accessibility.

Accessible Parking & Entry

Meow Wolf has a few locations for parking, and they can be found here. All parking locations offer limited accessible parking, and depending on the lot you select and availability, may have a 15-20 minute journey to the main entrance. We recommend parking in our main lot by the entrance (1338 1st St, Denver, CO 80204) for easy access.

If you require seating or other assistance while waiting in the check-in line please ask anyone wearing a staff badge or at the Box Office to speak to a Manager on Duty when you arrive. Currently, wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, or any other mobility aids are not provided.

Wheelchair & Mobility Devices

Our exhibition meets all of the accessibility standards set by the American’s with Disability Act (ADA) and is navigable by wheelchairs, scooters, walkers, or crutches. Some attractions and offerings will vary on accessibility, and the majority of our exhibition is navigable by wheelchair.

Some areas on the exhibition’s floors may require additional navigational guidance from our staff, who are always available to help our guests have a great experience. In most cases, there are multiple ways to enter an area, so don’t be deterred if one path is unavailable. This may lead you to the discovery of a new route! Keep exploring!

If a member of your party needs to remain in another type of conveyance while visiting us, please make sure to visit our Box Office or consult with a Meow Wolf Employee prior to entering security. Our team will  provide you with a “wheelchair stroller” tag that can be placed on your stroller so that it is allowed entry into the  exhibition. Strollers that are not used for wheelchairs will need to remain outside of the building in our stroller parking zone.

Blind & Low Vision

Meow Wolf Denver has created a groundbreaking two-hour Audio Description Tour, Highlights of the Convergence. Explore the Convergence through the descriptive narration of expert guides, detailing key visual elements and action that might not be seen by someone with limited vision. This Audio Description Tour is designed specifically for audience members who are Blind or have low vision, allowing for a more inclusive experience of the exhibition by means of storytelling, touch exploration and play.

To learn more about Highlights of the Convergence tour click here, and complete the form here to request a tour!

Our experiences can be enjoyed through a variety of senses. All participants, regardless of sight, are encouraged to touch, hold, and play with countless objects in our exhibition.

Service animals are welcome. Please visit that section below.

If you would like to talk with a staff member about any concerns or the best way to explore, please visit  the Information Desk when you arrive for  your adventure. The Information Desk is located on the first floor of the building and in front of you, on the right hand side after entering the main doors. Additionally, every 2 minutes you will hear an audio chime from the desk that says: “Here at the Information Desk…” to assist you in locating it.

In the meantime, please be aware that our exhibit features a number of steps up and down, as well as a variety of flooring textures that may restrict mobility. Explore with caution!

Deaf & Hard of Hearing

All videos featured in our exhibition can be found on kiosks located throughout the space. Closed captioning may be turned on for some stored videos.

We encourage participants who require hearing assistance to contact a Meow Wolf staff member for available accommodations.

Light & Noise Sensitivity

Meow Wolf Denver’s Convergence Station brings together art and technology through a unique, immersive storytelling experience! We understand that this may be overwhelming for some guests, and we strive to provide a balance of environments for all participants to experience.

This exhibition features: dark spaces, low lighting, low overhangs, tight spaces, crawl spaces, narrow walkways, steep stairways, flashing/strobe lights, theatrical fog effects, music, some loud noises, and exposed materials.

The exhibit may be crowded with visitors during peak visitation and holiday times. Consider visiting on a weekday or morning for the possibility of a smaller crowd.

There are several spaces or rooms throughout the exhibition that are designed for a more minimal sensory experience, and therefore might offer a respite for participants seeking a quiet space. If you are concerned about light and noise sensitivity, we encourage you to explore and discover these quiet spaces and ask a staff member to assist you. You may also want to consider visiting Meow Wolf Denver during the aforementioned, non-peak times.

Please refer to our Terms of Use for additional information.

  • Service animals are required to be leashed or harnessed except when performing work or tasks where such tethering would interfere with the animal’s ability to perform the work or tasks.
  • The Department of Justice has stated that emotional support animals are NOT protected as service animals under ADA regulations.
  • If a particular service animal is out of control and the handler does not take effective action to control it, or if it is not housebroken, that animal may be asked to leave the building.

Should you arrive at Meow Wolf Denver with a pet that is not a Working Service Animal, you will be asked to visit us at another time. For the safety of all animals, we do not allow animals to be kept in any car on the premises, nor left unattended at our premises, at any time.
