Accessibility

All are welcome at Meow Wolf. We offer a variety of supportive services and accessibility options when you visit Meow Wolf Santa Fe's House of Eternal Return.

Our projects are intended for all visitors to enjoy through cross-ability play and exploration. Due to the nature of exploration and nonlinear storytelling, each participant — regardless of ability — will have a different experience in our spaces.

Accessible Parking & Entry

Eight designated accessible parking spots are available at Meow Wolf Santa Fe for participants with a valid parking permit.

If you require seating or other assistance while waiting in the check-in line or for viewing a concert/show, please ask anyone wearing a staff badge to speak to a Manager on Duty when you arrive. Currently, wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, or any other mobility aids are not provided.

Wheelchair & Mobility Devices

At Meow Wolf Santa Fe, our entrance, lobby, restrooms, and the exhibition’s first floor are accessible and navigable by wheelchairs, scooters, walkers, or crutches.

Some areas on the exhibition’s first floor may require additional navigational guidance from our docent staff, who are always available to help our participants have a great experience. In most cases, there are multiple ways to enter an area on the first floor, so don’t be deterred if one path is inaccessible. This may lead you to the discovery of a new route! Keep exploring!

Please note: There are no elevators or lifts to the exhibition’s second floor. The second floor is also more challenging to navigate, including steps up/down and narrow passageways.

If you are unable to explore the exhibition fully we offer 30% off your admission price. Please email [email protected], or ask anyone wearing a staff badge to contact the Manager on Duty when you arrive, for assistance with your discount. Currently, accessibility discounts are not available for online purchases.

Blind & Low Vision

Our experiences can be enjoyed through a variety of senses. If you would like descriptive assistance, please ask anyone wearing a staff badge to contact the Manager on Duty.

Service animals are welcome. Please see below.

Please be aware that our exhibit features a number of steps up and down, as well as a variety of flooring textures that may restrict mobility. Explore with caution!

If you are unable to fully explore the exhibition (including companions and caretakers) we offer 30% off your admission price. Deaf & Hard of Hearing

A number of the videos featured in our exhibition offer closed captioning, though some do not.

We encourage participants who require hearing assistance to contact an employee wearing a staff badge to contact the Manager on Duty for available accommodations.

  • A Women’s restroom with a changing table and accessible stalls at the rear of the building.

A larger changing table is available upon request should the restroom changing tables not suit your needs.

Breastfeeding & Bottle Feeding

We allow breastfeeding and bottle feeding inside the exhibit wherever you are comfortable doing so. For more information, please email [email protected]

Light & Noise Sensitivity

Meow Wolf Santa Fe’s House of Eternal Return brings together art and technology through a unique, immersive storytelling experience! We understand that this may be overwhelming for some guests, and we strive to provide a balance of environments for all participants to experience.

House of Eternal Return features: dark spaces, low lighting, low overhangs, tight spaces, narrow walkways, flashing/strobe lights, theatrical fog effects, music, some loud noises, and exposed materials.

There are many spaces or rooms throughout the exhibition that are designed for a more minimal sensory experience, and therefore might offer a respite for participants seeking a quiet space. If you are concerned about light and noise sensitivity, we encourage you to explore and discover these quiet spaces.

Sensory bags, including noise-canceling headphones, sunglasses, and fidget toys, are available at the front desk of House of Eternal Return at no charge for guests who feel overwhelmed or overstimulated.

House of Eternal Return offers Sensory Sensitive Days once per quarter. Sound and lighting inside the House of Eternal Return is adapted to create a low-sensory experience and capacity will be limited to one-third maximum operating capacity. Visit our events page for more information on upcoming Sensory Sensitive Days.

Service Animals

For the health and safety of our participants, we have a no pets policy, which applies to:

  • Pets
  • Emotional Support Animals
  • Comfort Animals
  • Therapy Animals

Service animals that are trained to assist an individual, in accordance with the ADA guidelines, are permitted inside House of Eternal Return:

  • Service animals are required to be leashed or harnessed except when performing work or tasks where such tethering would interfere with the animal’s ability to perform the work or tasks.
  • The Department of Justice has stated that emotional support animals are NOT protected as service animals under ADA regulations.
  • If a particular service animal is out of control and the handler does not take effective action to control it, or if it is not housebroken, that animal may be asked to leave the building.

Should you arrive at Meow Wolf Santa Fe with a pet that is not a Working Service Animal, you will be asked to remove the animal from our facility. For the safety of all animals, we do not allow animals to be kept in any car on our premises, nor left unattended at our premises, at any time. There are several local resources for people looking to board their animals during their stay.

Safety & Harassment

We are dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, nationality, race, age, religion, ableness, neurodiversity, physical appearance, or other protected category.

The following actions can result in a warning or immediate ejection:

  • Taunting, abusive, or disruptive language, and obscene or offensive gestures, imagery, or symbolism.
  • Inappropriate physical contact and unwelcome sexual attention.
  • Use of drugs.
  • No eating or drinking outside of your designated table within the Float Bar & Cafe.
  • Acting in ways that are harmful to oneself, other participants, or the exhibit.
  • Displaying threatening or offensive clothing, imagery, or symbolism.

Our staff have been trained to intervene when necessary to help ensure that participant expectations are met. All guests are encouraged to report any inappropriate behavior or issues to the nearest employee wearing a staff badge, security guard, or manager.
