Meow Wolf's Newest Parklett Unveiled at The Art of the Machine

This Saturday Meow Wolf will unveil its latest parklett, the second of three in a series, as part of The Art of the Machine (Saturday, July 1st from 2PM-10PM). Art of the Machine is a satellite event of AHA Festival of Progressive Arts, the organization best known for their flagship annual event, the AHA Festival, which is held each September in the Santa Fe Railyard.

The parkletts are mini fun stations funded through a grant from the PNM Foundation and sourced through MIX Santa Fe. The second parklett is solar-powered and functions like an outdoor disco experience and party platform. In appearance it couldn’t be more 21st century. Utilizing intriguing aesthetic design with current technologies, this parklett is like a portal from Meow Wolf’s House of Eternal Return that fell a little further from the Multiverse tree than the rest of them.

It can be found at Siler’s Make Space during the events lined up for The Art of the Machine.

The Art of the Machine is a diverse display of technologies at the nexus of industry and art and it features notable family fun such as the ever-popular power tool racing, performances from local favorite circus troop Wise Fool, pop-up stores, and food trucks. This year, it even boasts a "Death Star" and an "Adventure Van." Art of the Machine is happening on and off Siler Road. For a full list of events and their locations, please visit their page.
