Kaitlyn Armendáriz is the Regional Impact Manager for Meow Wolf overseeing Social Impact Initiatives for the Grapevine and Houston Meow Wolf locations including arts education initiatives, non-profit support, and community partnerships and outreach.
Kaitlyn has a background in Art History and Middle Eastern & North African Studies. Her research specializes in cultural heritage and the arts' roles in sustainable social and economic development - particularly in areas affected by neocolonialism. She explores these topics with her students as Adjunct Faculty in Art History at Collin College. She has had the opportunity to present her research both nationally and internationally and continues to actively conduct research in her field. In her Social Impact work, Kaitlyn has led programs on arts and health, public art, arts and equity, arts education, cultural intersections through art, and intangible cultural heritage as a part of institutions such as the North Texas Business Council for the Arts and the University of Arizona prior to joining the Social Impact Team at Meow Wolf.
