The Daikon Pals’ Las Vegas Local Business Guide

Some of Omega Mart's Daikon Pals escaped to different local businesses around Las Vegas.

Daikon Pals have been running rampant throughout the multiverse and taking shelter in local businesses. Omega Mart was able to thank the Las Vegas community patrons for their hard work in returning our daikons home with prizes such as tickets, pins, and daikon plushies of their very own.

What is the Daikon Pal Tour?

The Daikon Pal Tour was an event held at the beginning of August, organized by Meow Wolf’s Las Vegas Intern team. The scavenger hunt lasted a week, where tourists and community members visited local businesses in search of daikons. The purpose of this event was to endorse and drive traffic to some of the many small businesses throughout the Vegas Valley.

Meow Wolf has always prided themselves on their dedication to the community. In addition to the food drive held by last year’s interns, this ethos inspired the Omega Mart interns to hold another event spotlighting the area around them. Nick Bilt, Christine Deming, America Ochoa, and Althea Santos began conceptualizing the Daikon Pal Tour in June, and have been developing it throughout the summer. Together, they have organized a wonderful event, and feel great pride in this project.
