Our Vegas location isn't open...YET, but that doesn't mean we haven't been busy in the Entertainment Capital of the World!
In addition to working on our next permanent installation, we’ve also been spending time having conversations with the community we’re going to call home, taking in the Vegas culture, and learning about our co-tenants in AREA15.

On Oct. 10, 2019, we were joined by artists and Las Vegas community members at the Barrick Museum of Art to have an informal conversation about the opportunities and challenges faced by the local arts community. Meow Wolf was able to educate participants on the upcoming installation at AREA15 through the leadership of Fawn Douglas and Monera Mason, both UNLV alumni who are heading Meow Wolf Las Vegas’ Community Outreach efforts.
The year 2019 was big for Meow Wolf when it came to Pride and celebrating LBTQIA+ lives. We hosted our first official Pride After Party, and we were able to participate in Las Vegas Pride in 2019 as sponsors!
In early 2020, we were able to work with Tsvetelina Stefanova, executive director of the Dam Short Film Festival, in order to highlight Boulder City’s Boulder Theatre and DSFF, one of the country’s most unique film festivals. You may have heard of AREA15, and you may have heard of Meow Wolf, but did you know that Meow Wolf will just be one tenant among a number of immersive attractions in AREA15? Meow Wolf Las Vegas will anchor AREA15 — a retail and entertainment complex — but our interactive art installation will exist alongside curated retail, virtual reality, and dining options!
