Listen, we’re not exactly sure when tacos became synonymous with weirdness, but we are pretty sure it’s a thing. So we thought, why not put together a list of all the taco places near Meow Wolf locations?

You might think of Santa Fe as a hub for New Mexican cuisine, but it’s so much more than that. The city’s food scene also draws on flavors from all over the state, country, and the world. From asada to barbacoa, these tacos come highly recommended. Bonus: they’re served from a tiny shack in a gravel parking lot so you know they’re good.

“A dining institution since 1953”, you’ll find The Shed under a bright wood sign on Palace Ave. You’ll want to try the red chile enchiladas paired with a margarita - if you’re in the mood to drink.
Coyote Cafe and Rooftop Cantina
132 W Water St.
Another long-term Santa Fe eatery, Coyote Cafe has been serving patrons for over 35 years. Noted as a location for “serious foodies”, you can find an array of international flavors at this joint.
