April 23: Reduced Admission for Locals at Meow Wolf’s Community Day

Spring celebrations continue at Meow Wolf this month with a special Community Day (April 23), featuring reduced admission for New Mexico residents. In addition to the cheaper ticket prices, our friends, family and neighbors can enjoy a unique, one-time performance inside the exhibition by musicians from the New Mexico School for the Arts as well as a DJ party in our parking lot.

On April 23rd, we’ll be knocking ticket prices back by nearly a third. Admission for New Mexican residents will be: $11 for adults, $10 for seniors 65 and up and $7.50 for children 12 and under. Children under three, of course, get in for free.

Out-of-state prices will remain the same, at $18 for adults, $12 for children under 12 and $16 for seniors. From 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. New Mexico School for the Arts musicians will be performing throughout the House of Eternal Return in small ensembles. On special occasions we like to utilize the whole exhibit for performances. If you’re from New Mexico and missed our Halloween and Anniversary shows, this is an excellent chance to see how the character of the space changes when we bring in the performing arts. As a finale, the ensembles will come together in our concert venue for a group performance.

And we’re so excited about the warmer spring weather that we decided to host an all-day BBQ and dance party in the parking lot, under the watchful gazes of our robot and our giant metal spider.

‍BBQ House! will showcase some of our favorite DJs from Santa Fe’s dance scene from noon to 6 p.m. This free party will feature the talents of Santa Fe house godmother Oona Bender, BadCat, Feathericci, Mayrant, St. John and — coming to us from New York City— Jim Stephens.

The music will be adjacent to our army of food trucks and within walking distance to our indoor bar, with tasty adult beverages served up by Duel brewery. Think of Community Day as Meow Wolf’s thesis statement for how the rest of the spring and summer will play out at the House of Eternal Return.
