It’s Opening Day at Omega Mart, the #1 Supermarket in the Worlds, Las Vegas, NV

Explore our mind-bending immersive art exhibit that’s been 13 years in the making. Omega Mart has 4 gigantic themed areas, comprising dozens of installations and 60 unique rooms and portals.

It’s taken months of painstaking work by 325+ artists to get the rooms, murals, stories, and sounds ready for the complete Omega Mart experience in time to show off to the world for our Grand Opening.

And we made it! Omega Mart is officially open. The Meow Wolf team stands in awe of our colleagues and collaborators who pushed to get the job done. Congratulations to one and all.

Travel to new worlds – including Claudia Bueno’s two installations, “FractaLife” and “Pulse”, the latter which comprises countless line drawings that are meticulously intertwined and superimposed on 60 glass panels, then mesmerizingly animated for a complete immersive experience.

Luminous crystals, petri dishes with hands reaching out, beakers filled with unknown substances – every detail counts at Omega Mart, thanks to the minds of artists like Max Neutra, Brandy Oleson, Aubrey Schwartz, Charlotte Thurman and Curtis Lee. You’ll have to visit more than once to see it all!

At Omega Mart, it’s sometimes hard to tell where the walls end and your imagination begins. Eric Vozzola’s “Op Art Overload” creates motion and illusion before your very eyes – without a single moving part.

Descend into a glitter-covered canyon whose walls have sprouted up into the real (real?) world of Omega Mart directly from the minds of Clarice Tara and Jane Poynter. Where does the path lead? You’re guided by a soundscape on your way, whose composers include Brian Eno, Beach House, Santigold and Amon Tobin.

Among the creatures at Omega Mart is this friendly pair: interactive, talking animatronic robots created and installed by Tom Sepe. Come say hello!

"The Infinitizer" by Alex Grey & Allyson Grey

You know when your friend goes somewhere and tries to explain it to you, but you don’t really understand it until you see it yourself? That’s Alex Grey & Allyson Grey’s “The Infinitizer,” found deep in the heart of Omega Mart.

At Omega Mart, you might find yourself in a warehouse-sized playground with Double Helix slides. Start at the top and see where you end up.

Is this what appears in the corner of your eye when you run really fast down the aisles of Omega Mart? Will you enter a new world if you grab something off the shelves of our totally normal grocery store? There’s a story to be discovered in our new exhibition: just follow the clues to discover – or is that deepen? – the choose-your-own-adventure story.
