How to Win:

Win Big: Three winners will be randomly selected on October 1, 2024. Each winner will receive two tickets to Balloon Fiesta and a ride for two on Meow Wolf’s hot air balloon. (Winners and their guests must be 18 or older and sign a release form before flying. Dates for flights: Sunday, October 6, Saturday, October 12, or Sunday October 13. Winners have 24 hours to claim their prize once they are notified. Dates and times for flights are subject to weather and availability and are in Meow Wolf’s sole discretion. Day of flight: winners must be on time for their ride and cannot be rescheduled. Ride is subject to change and weather permitting.)

1. Sponsor; Sweepstakes Period.

MW Santa Fe, LLC (“Meow Wolf”), with an address of c/o Meow Wolf, Inc., 2600 Camino Entrada, Santa Fe, NM 87507, is the sponsor and administrator of the Ride the Skyworm: Meow Wolf’s Balloon Fiesta Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”). The Sweepstakes begins at 10:00:01 am Mountain Time (“MT”) on Sunday, September 1, 2024, and ends at 8:00:00 pm MT on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 (“Sweepstakes Period”), as measured by Meow Wolf’s third-party vendor system and records. All times expressed in these Official Rules are in MT. Decisions of Meow Wolf concerning matters with respect to the Sweepstakes are final.

2. Eligibility.

All legal residents of the United States of America (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) who are age 18 or over (19 and over in Alabama and Nebraska) are eligible to enter the Sweepstakes for a chance to win a prize (“entrants”). Current employees of Meow Wolf, its corporate affiliates, and members of their immediate family and household are not eligible to enter.

3. How to Enter.

Only one entry in the Sweepstakes per email account or per person during the Sweepstakes Period is eligible. Meow Wolf reserves the right to disqualify any entrant that attempts to acquire more than one (1) entry by using multiple email addresses, registrations, identities, or other means of multiple entry.

Individuals meeting the eligibility requirements above may enter the Sweepstakes for a chance to win a prize as described in more detail in Section 6 below. Individuals may enter by completing and submitting an entry ticket form at Meow Wolf’s Santa Fe exhibition, The House of Eternal Return, located at 1352 Rufina Cir., Santa Fe, NM 87507. The entry form must include the individual’s (i) full name, (ii) valid email address and phone number where they may be contacted (including if they win a prize), (iii) their City & State of residence, and (iv) a signed statement affirming they wish to enter the Sweepstakes and meet the eligibility requirements.

Individuals may also enter the Sweepstakes by mailing a letter/postcard to MW Santa Fe, LLC, 1352 Rufina Cir., Santa Fe, NM 87507, Attn: Marketing Dept., Ride The SkyWorm: Meow Wolf’s Balloon Fiesta Sweepstakes, which lists the entrant’s full legal name, valid email address, and phone number where they may be contacted, and a signed statement stating “Please enter me in the Sweepstakes. I hereby confirm I meet the eligibility requirements set forth in the Official Rules.” Any entry sent by mail must be postmarked no later than Wednesday, September 25, 2024, and received by Meow Wolf no later than Monday, September 30, 2024, to be valid. Entries submitted in person at Meow Wolf’s Santa Fe exhibition must be received by Meow Wolf by 8:00:00 pm MT on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, to be entered into the Sweepstakes.

Only entries containing all required information and that are legible will be considered valid. All entries become the exclusive property of Meow Wolf and will not be acknowledged or returned. Entries made by third-party services, couriers, or any other manner not specifically allowed under these Official Rules will not be entered into the Sweepstakes. In the event of a dispute, the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter the Sweepstakes will be deemed to be the entrant. The authorized account holder is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses. By entering, entrants acknowledge compliance with these Official Rules, including eligibility requirements. All entries must be received by the deadlines set forth above to be eligible, and Meow Wolf is not responsible for entries it does not receive or cannot decipher, regardless of the reason.

4. Selection of Winners (3 total).

There will be a total of three (3) winners of the Sweepstakes. On approximately Tuesday, October 1, 2024, three winners will be selected at random by a computer-generated randomizer from all eligible entrants in the Sweepstakes. For purposes of this Section 4, an “eligible entrant” is an individual who submitted a form in person at Meow Wolf’s Santa Fe exhibition by 8:00:00 pm MT on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, or whose postcard was postmarked by Wednesday, September 25, 2024, and received by Meow Wolf by Monday, September 30, 2024. The odds of winning the Sweepstakes will be determined by the number of eligible entries.

5. Prizes.

Three (3) winners will receive a prize consisting of: (A) admission to the 2024 Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta (the “Balloon Fiesta”) during one day of the Balloon Fiesta to be selected by Meow Wolf at its sole discretion (parking not included); and (B) a hot air balloon ride for two (2) people (the winner and one (1) guest, each 18 or older) in the Meow Wolf Skyworm Hot Air Balloon at the Balloon Fiesta (ARV of each prize: $400). The hot air balloon ride date is scheduled to occur on either Sunday, October 6, 2024; Saturday, October 12, 2024; or Sunday, October 13, 2024, or as otherwise determined and designated by Meow Wolf.

The exact date and time of the hot air balloon ride is subject to change, weather permitting, and shall be as solely determined and designated by Meow Wolf, at its sole discretion, based on availability. The hot air balloon ride must be completed by October 13, 2024, or the prize will be forfeited (regardless of the reason for failure to complete the ride). Each winner and each of the winner’s guests must be present at the designated date, time, and location as specified by Meow Wolf to participate in the Meow Wolf Skyworm Hot Air Balloon ride. The hot air balloon ride is scheduled to depart from the Balloon Fiesta grounds. Each winner and guest shall be required to complete all liability release waivers required prior to departure, which waiver includes confirmation that the hot air balloon rider is at least 18 years of age and not pregnant.

Additionally, each winner and guest is subject to all policies and terms and conditions of the Balloon Fiesta, Meow Wolf, and Rainbow Ryders, Inc. (it being understood that Rainbow Ryders, Inc. is the operator of the Meow Wolf Skyworm Hot Air Balloon). Each winner and guest must follow the safety procedures and direction of all staff and behave in a responsible and appropriate manner, or the winner(s) and guest(s) may be barred from participating and shall forfeit the prize. The scheduled hot air balloon ride departure date and time is subject to cancellation and rescheduling without notice for any reason including due to inclement weather conditions, pilot or staff illness, pandemics, government orders, acts of God, force majeure, or any other reason beyond the control of Meow Wolf and Rainbow Ryders, Inc. The winners shall not receive any substitute prize award or compensation in the event of rescheduling, postponement, or cancellation of the scheduled hot air balloon ride.

Please note that the prize does NOT include any transportation, transfers, parking, meals, miscellaneous expenses, or any other expense not specifically included in the description of the prize set forth above. Any expense or cost not expressly stated in the description of the prize set forth above is the sole responsibility of each winner.

A winner may elect not to accept a prize or a portion thereof, but no cash or other consideration will be awarded in lieu thereof. No refunds, exchanges, transfers of prizes, or substitutions are permitted for the foregoing prize. Taxes on the prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners.

6. Award of Prize.

After each potential winner is selected, Meow Wolf will attempt to contact them by email or phone number at the email address or phone number provided by the winner in its entry form. The winner must respond within twenty-four (24) hours in order to claim their prize. If any email is returned as undeliverable or if a winner fails to respond within twenty-four (24) hours or is deemed to be ineligible, the winner will forfeit the prize and an alternate winner will be selected at random from the remaining valid entries. Additional alternate winners may continue to be selected until the prizes have been claimed.

Meow Wolf is not liable if an email is sorted into an entrant’s “spam” folder or similar, or returned as undeliverable, or if a notification is not responded to or not received by Meow Wolf within the allotted time. Each winner may be required to sign Meow Wolf’s affidavit and the applicable releases to claim the prize. No potential winner will be an official winner until such affidavit and applicable releases have been returned and eligibility has been formally verified by Meow Wolf. If the potential winner(s) fail(s) to comply with these Official Rules and/or to submit the required documentation within the designated time period, he/she will be automatically disqualified, and the prize may be awarded to an alternate winner.

7. Taxes.

The value of prizes awarded to each winner will be reported for tax purposes as required by law. Each winner will be responsible for reporting and paying all applicable taxes related to the prize. If requested, a winner must provide Meow Wolf with valid identification and a valid taxpayer identification number or social security number before any prize will be awarded.

8. Publicity; Consent to Use Personal Information

By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants agree that Meow Wolf and its corporate affiliates may use the information provided by the entrants for promotional and marketing purposes to the extent allowed by law, including in any and all media now known or hereinafter invented, without territorial or time limitations. Entrants waive any claims to compensation, royalty, or remuneration for such use.

9. Release and No Liability

By entering the Sweepstakes, all entrants release Meow Wolf, Inc., Instagram, LLC, Meta Platforms, Inc., prize providers (e.g., Rainbow Ryders, Inc., and the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, Inc.), and each of their respective affiliates, and the foregoing entities’ members, managers, landlords, directors, officers, employees, representatives, partners, and agents (collectively, “Released Entities”), from all liabilities, claims, expenses, costs, injuries, losses (including death, personal injury, loss, and/or disability), and damages (collectively, “Losses”) incurred in connection with participating in the Sweepstakes, including but not limited to participation in the hot air balloon ride and/or presence at the Balloon Fiesta.

Entrants hereby waive all rights to claim punitive, incidental, consequential, or any other damages. All claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, excluding attorneys’ fees and court costs. All causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action. Entrants agree to execute and deliver such documents provided by Meow Wolf to confirm these terms. Released Entities are not responsible for computer, tablet, mobile device, or software errors, “glitches,” or failures, illegible entries, incomplete submissions, failure to receive entries, or damage to entrants’ computer or personal devices in connection with entering the Sweepstakes.

10. Names of Winners

For a list of the names of the winners, please mail a letter/postcard no later than Friday, December 20, 2024, to Meow Wolf, Inc., 2600 Camino Entrada, Santa Fe, NM 87507, Attn: Marketing Dept., Ride the Skyworm: Meow Wolf’s Balloon Fiesta Sweepstakes – Names of Winners.

By entering the Sweepstakes, you agree to Meow Wolf’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

12. Non-affiliation of Online Platforms

The Sweepstakes is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Facebook, Google, or any other third-party platform not owned by Meow Wolf where references to the Sweepstakes may appear.
